Weather

Happy Monday!  Today we started our first science unit on weather.  The kids will learn about seasons, temperature, clouds and much more.  To make this unit a little more fun than what it already is, I'm turning our first graders into meteorologists!  We will have a new meteorologist each day.  Your child will bring home a yellow "Meteorologist of the Day" paper.  Please help your child read or watch for the following day's weather.  During calendar, our meteorologist will report that day's weather.  It can be kept very simple.  For example, "Today it is going to be 78 degrees, partly sunny with a few clouds in the sky."  Let me know if you have any questions.  Enjoy this beautiful night :)
